In 2022, she achieved another significant success, earning a doctorate in medical science. Her doctoral thesis, entitled “Smoking and Thrombolytic Treatment - Analysis of the so-called smoker's paradox,” was defended with distinction. This demonstrates her deep commitment to scientific research and the search for new solutions in the field of neurology.
However, Dr. Magdalena Konopko's career is not limited to clinical and scientific work. Earlier in her career, she was associated with the Medical Tribune publishing house, where she worked as an editor and translator. Since 2021, she has been sharing her knowledge and experience with future doctors as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at Lazarski University.
Her professional interests focus on patients with acute neurological conditions and epilepsy. From the very beginning of her career, she has been actively involved in the clinical and scientific work of the Clinic and Outpatient Clinic and the Center for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Lecroscopic Epilepsy of the IPiN. Her scientific achievements include numerous scientific reports at national and international congresses, as well as review and original articles published in both Polish and foreign journals. She has also authored chapters in books on neurology.
Magdalena Konopko is also active in research. She has participated in scientific programs and grants on epilepsy and stroke. Her contributions to international observational studies and Phase III and IV clinical trials are significant and valuable to the development of neurology.
