Maja Kopytek-Beuzen
Graduate of Medical University of Lodz, scholarship holder of the European Neurological Society. She completed one year postgraduate studies in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Pierre and Marie Curie University in Paris and two years postgraduate studies in Epileptology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lorraine. She completed a one-year course in the pharmacological treatment of epilepsy organised by the International League Against Epilepsy. She has had numerous clinical placements in epileptology and electroencephalography in Poland and France.
She owns the certificate of the Polish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology in running and interpreting EEG tests. She currently works at the Department of Neurosurgery of the Clinical Hospital, Medical University in Warsaw, where she deals with pre-surgery diagnosis of refractory epilepsy.
She attaches great importance to promoting knowledge among patients. She runs educational campaigns on contraception, pregnancy, motherhood and other relevant topics for women suffering from epilepsy.
